Who We Are
A Vibrant Queer AAPI Community in D.C.
AQUA DC is home to more than 3,600 queer and trans Asian and Pacific Islander people across the D.C. metro area. Our community spans all ages, national backgrounds, immigration statuses, and identities within the AAPI and LGBTQ+ spectrum.
We are East, Southeast, South, and Pacific Islander. We are immigrants and American-born. We are queer, trans, nonbinary, bisexual, pansexual, and beyond. We are one community.
